The 2017 Tony Awards will be handed out in New York Sunday night and the Canadian play ‘Come from Away’ is a leading contender to win ‘Best Musical’. Irene Sankoff & David Hein are the two writers responsible for the musical about the town of Gander, N.L., that took in and hosted passengers when planes were diverted after the attack on the World Trade buildings in NYC.
