Drake Is the First Artist In History to Surpass 50 Billion Spotify Streams

Drake is now the first artist in history to surpass 50 billion streams on Spotify.  Chart Data revealed the exciting news earlier today (Jan. 18) on Twitter.

.@Drake has now surpassed 50 billion streams on Spotify across all credits. He is the first artist in history to hit this milestone.

Drake currently has a total of 12 records on Spotify, including So Far So Gone, his debut EP which was added to the streaming service in February of 2019 as part of the EPs 10th anniversary.

In 2020, Drake managed to break several records including artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 entries of all time, first male artist to debut three singles at No.1 on the same chart, and the artist with the most top 10 entries.

Congrats, Drake! Here’s hoping he keeps his promise and drops his new album, Certified Lover Boy sooner than later.
