JANES FOOD RECALL

The Public Health Agency of Canada is now investigating 18 cases of salmonella, including one death, that may be connected to the recall. Here’s what you need to remove from your freezer: Janes Pub Style Chicken Burgers with a Best Before Date of May 12, 2018 and Janes Pub Style Chicken Burgers with a Best Before Date of May 15, 2018.  Both are sold in 800 gram packages across the country and distributed by Sofina Foods Inc. of Brampton, Ont. The CFIA says the recalled packages should be thrown out or returned to the store where purchased.
