As we settle into the new year, take the time to take care of yourself in a fast and effective way! Try these easy, yet yummy breakfast smoothies that will really kick your day off the right way, by keeping you balanced, healthy and full of energy!

 

Green Smoothie

1 cup of almond milk

1 tsp. of chia seeds

1 cup of spinach

2 frozen bananas

1 cup of frozen mango

Directions: Put everything into the blender and blend until it is smooth. Adding almond milk little by little until it is the right consistency.

 

Oatmeal Smoothie

¼ cup of uncooked Oats

¾ frozen mango

¾ frozen strawberries or blueberries

Half of a Banana

¾ cup of milk

Directions: Put everything into the blender and blend until it is smooth. Adding milk little by little until it is the right consistency.

 

Apple-Pear Smoothie

½ cup of Oats

1 cup of plain Greek yogurt

1 chopped apple

1 chopped pear

¼ cup of Milk

¼ tsp. of cinnamon

¼ tsp. of vanilla

1 cup of ice cubes

A little pinch of ground nutmeg

Directions: Put the oats in the blender first and blend until it is fine. Then add all the other ingredients and blend it until it is a smooth consistency. Add more milk along the way until the consistency is the way you like.
