Today is National Watermelon Day! Also in the GTA we’re looking at a BIG HEATWAVE… So, to stay cool / hydrated we’ve got a fast, 3 ingredient, gluten, AND refined Sugar FREE Watermelon Lemonade recipe to share with you!

Ingredients

5 cups cubed watermelon
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice – about 2 lemons
3 tbsp. honey
4 cups water

Instructions

Cut your watermelon into small cubes and place in blender. (Depending on the size of your blender-type machine… You may need to do it in two separate batches. We borrowed a Vitamix, so we feel kinda special)
Add lemon juice and pulse until smooth.
Add water & honey and combine again.
Pour in pitcher and store in your fridge. (Impress your friends and use mason jars!)
Chill for at an hour or more – serve over ice… OH, and add some frozen or fresh strawberries to go that extra awesome mile.
