Being a parent is a job in itself and when you add in a full time paying job, the number of hours moms put in is CRAZY! Welch’s recently looked at 2,000 working moms with kids ages five to 12. Between work and family responsibilities, women worked 98 hours per week with the average mom starting her day at 6:23 a.m and ending it at 8:31 p.m. In addition, working that 14 hour day leaves mothers with just seven minutes of “me time” each day. Does this math seem about right, to you?
