Adam Levine and the boys of Maroon 5 have unveiled their latest single, ‘Cold’ and it features Atlanta rapper Future. (*Caution, some salty language!*)

In ‘Cold’, Adam Levine sings about an apparent lost love that he no longer recognizes because she’s changed, she’s cold and he’s having a difficult time understanding the change in attitude, “Cold enough to chill my bones/It feels like I don’t know you anymore/I don’t understand why you’re so cold to me/With every breath you breathe/I see there’s something going on/I don’t understand why you’re so cold.”

Surprisingly, the normally difficult-to-understand mumble rapper’s lyrics come through loud and clear as Future Hendrix echoes similar sentiments to Adam Levine in his verse, “Never thought that you were like this/I took the tag off of major prices/I just spent half a mill’ on a chandelier/Now you tryna cut me off like a light switch.”

Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to hear them perform the song live as the group revealed that they’d be performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday.

Maroon 5 are currently in the middle of their North American tour; Tove Lo is opening for them.

These dates are the ones they had to reschedule due to the birth of Adam’s child Dusty Rose.
