We’ve all done it, at some point…so let’s take away the positive in gossiping! New research says that gossiping has positive effects on our brains and helps release the ‘pleasure hormone’ – Oxytocin.

“I work as a psychiatrist,” explains Dr Natascia Brondino, “and I noticed that every time my colleagues and I gossiped, we felt closer together. I started to wonder whether there was a biochemical cause for this feeling of closeness.”
