The Accountant took the #1 spot at the box office this weekend by bringing in $24.7 million. In doing so, the Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick-led film exceeded box office expectations, of between $15 and $20 million. Meanwhile, comedy documentary Kevin Hart: What Now? claimed second place by debuting to $11.98 million and The Girl on the Train fell to third by adding $11.97 million.
