It’s been drilled into our heads that we need to drink about 8 glasses of water a day and if you have a hard time with that, you’re not the only one!  According to a new study, our body has a swallowing mechanism that actually shuts down when our body doesn’t need any more water.  So if you’re not thirsty but you try to drink all the water that you’re suppose to, you basically have to force your body to take it. Research is showing that there is no “right” amount of water to drink, we should just make sure we’re hydrated. (Photo: sites. psu. edu)
