Samsung will stop sales of the Galaxy Note 7, its newest smartphone, after reports that some devices exploded.

The phone was launched just over two weeks ago to positive reviews, but there have been concerns about the battery.

There have been at least 35 reports of batteries “exploding” in the U.S and in South Korea while the phone has been charging.

Samsung says it’s investigating those issues, and now it has taken action to avoid potential tragedies. The company says it has sold 2.5 million devices so far, and it plans to replace them all in “the coming weeks.”

More details on what the company has to say here.
