This was Toronto on December 22nd, 2013.  Today, we golfed.

It was right around this time 2 years ago, on Sunday, December 22nd, that the full extent of what had happened to our city was beginning to sink in.  A winter storm unlike any we had ever seen had begun the night before and when we woke up, everything was coated in ice.  Before long, it was clear that this was going to be more than just a minor inconvenience in our rushing around before Christmas; this was a catastrophe on a major scale.  800,000 people were without power, and for many the outage would last well beyond a day or two.  Check this out from The National Post: the best pictures from what would become Toronto’s nightmare before Christmas.

What’s your most memorable moment from the ice storm?
